2026 Washington DC Bowling League

League Overview

• When: Thursdays, Jan 8th – Feb 19

• Where: Lucky Strike Arlington

• Duration: 6 regular-season games

Team Details

• Team Size: Up to 8 players per team

• Match Format:  Each team will bowl for 85 minutes with a maximum of 2 games allowed within that 85 minutes.

• Scoring: The top 4 player scores from each game count toward your team’s total for the night

Important Dates

• 1/6 (tentative) - T-shirt Pick Up and Team Meet & Greet from 7:00-8:30pm, location TBD

• 1/9 - Week 1

• 1/15 - Week 2

• 1/22 - Week 3

• 1/29 - Week 4

• 2/5 - Week 5 Show the love - Fundraiser for a local LGBTQ+ non-profits

• 2/12 - Week 6 Playoffs - All teams play!

• 2/19 - Make up week (If needed)

Game Times

Game times change weekly:

• Round 1: 6:30–7:55 PM

• Round 2: 8:00–9:25 PM

Skill Level

This is a casual, community-centered league — think friendly competition, good vibes, and lots of laughter. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to join!

Registration

At Queer City Sports, everyone registers as a Free Agent — and yes, that’s on purpose! We build our teams so players can mingle, connect, and make new friends. It’s one of the best parts of our leagues — every season, new teammates become new friends, and the community grows stronger. You can always hang with your crew before or after games, but for teams, we mix it up to keep things social, inclusive, and full of fresh connections.
